About this Wing
The College of General Practitioners is the academic wing of the Association for family physicians and general practitioners — the doctors to whom most patients come first.
Its work is continuing education for general practice: clinical update programmes, case discussions, workshops on office procedures and emergency care, and structured courses conducted with the branches and with specialty faculty. The College also carries the concerns of general practice — training, recognition and the place of the family physician in the health system — within the Association.
General practitioners who are members of IMA Andhra Pradesh may take part through their local branch. Programme dates are published on the Events page of this website.
